Compared to the film for stretch packaging, this one requires obviously less material. Most environment advantages come from not using resource. Stretch film can be stretched and shaped as needed to fit into any space without clamps or heat sealing. This makes it very suitable for different kinds of packing tasks. It's hard to put a price on the savings in this area that companies can achieve. However, the benefits are substantial for those with high volume packaging requirements--and costs of course go up and down depending on these types of numbers.
